Blackwing Volume 651 (Set of 12)

The Blackwing Volume 651 is a set of 12 extra-firm graphite pencils inspired by Bruce Lee’s philosophy and martial art, Jeet Kune Do. Each pencil pairs a black-and-yellow striped design with a firm core made for notes, journaling, and capturing ideas. The number 651 comes from 651 S. Weller Street in Seattle, where Lee opened his first formal martial arts school. The graphic treatment feels direct and purposeful, much like the idea behind the edition.

It can be engraved or printed with your logo. Keep the branding restrained so the striped design remains the focus. This 12-pencil set makes a thoughtful client thank-you for writers, designers, and teams that still prefer putting ideas on paper. It also works well as part of a creative onboarding kit, paired with a quality notebook for first-day notes and long-term thinking.
