Blackwing Høvel

The Blackwing Høvel is a handheld pencil sharpener that works like a traditional woodworking plane. Its black anodized aluminum body lets you shave graphite gradually, adjusting the angle and blade depth to create your preferred point. Hold it at both ends and shave away from yourself for a controlled, satisfying cut. A matching black wooden base keeps it ready on the desk, and 10 carbon steel replacement blades are included.

It can be engraved or printed with your logo. The compact form and distinctive sharpening ritual make it a thoughtful executive gift for designers, writers, and anyone who still prefers pencil on paper. Add it to a client thank-you or leadership gift alongside a Blackwing notebook and pencils. It feels considered, useful, and uncommon without asking the recipient to learn a new desk habit.
